According to a new LinkedIn study revealed exclusively to Marketing Week, female marketers have seen their careers hit hard by the impact of Covid-19. Sixty percent of them have left the profession or are considering doing so. This is the highest ratio among all professional categories.
This high rate is certainly explained by the fact that women have assumed more responsibility for care and education at home, and are more strongly represented in the industries most affected by Covid-19, such as travel, retail and hospitality.
